Our Story

As a young girl, Cindy Crider noticed that her mother’s baking never ceased to enliven a holiday gathering or special occasion; her indulgent dessert tables were always lit by the glow of a crowd of eager eyes. While this confectionery affection began as her mother’s passion, it eventually grew to become the most meaningful way for Cindy to express her love to her own friends and family.

Founding Fourteen Sweets has given Cindy the opportunity to nurture her skill for creating homemade desserts while sharing them with those who love the taste – but not the stress – of baking from scratch. This expression of love is even baked into the name—her favorite number “14” happens to be the birth date of both of her children.

Cindy makes all of her desserts and confections from scratch and creates delightful dessert displays for events big and small. The Fourteen Sweets mission is to create decadent homemade desserts sure to deliver bite-sized moments of joy.
